Nicole has taught writing workshops, lectured, delivered keynote addresses, and moderated conversations for various organizations, including Hedgebrook, City Lit Project, RWW, VONA, Grub Street, and others. They served as an adjunct professor of creative writing at The University of the Arts. They have led public discussions with notable literary artists, including Jesmyn Ward, Tochi Onyebuchi, Carmen Maria Machado, L.L. McKinney, and Kiese Laymon.
